Connersville sophomore Brady Cloyd had 2 RBI in the Spartans 5-2 win over the Pirates in Greensburg on Monday. The Spartans are scheduled to begin post-season play this Saturday in Rushville. They will take on the winner of today’s scheduled game between Lawrenceburg and Greensburg.

The Connersville Spartan baseball team concluded their regular season with a 5-2 win over the Greensburg Pirates in a continuation of a weather shortened game from last Thursday.
Connersville was up 3-0 in the top of the fifth inning when lightening forced the delay of the Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference matchup. The Spartans made the trip back to Greensburg on Monday to complete the game. Junior Gavin Pearson got the win on the mound for the Spartans, going the full 7 innings and striking out 3 Pirate batters.
