The Franklin County Lady Wildcats soccer team defeated the Connersville Lady Spartans 1-0 in an Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference matchup in Franklin County on Tuesday night.

The game was scoreless through 60 minutes of play in a tight, evenly matched contest. While Franklin County controlled the ball in the first 40 minutes, the Lady Spartans held possession throughout much of the second half. The defensive units for both sides kept scoring opportunities to a minimum. The 2 teams only had 13 shots on goal between them. With 10 minutes remaining in regulation, Franklin County sophomore Madison Sunderhaus drew a foul on the Connersville defense inside the penalty box. The resulting penalty kick by Franklin County senior Daniella Bularch. The kick snuck by the outstretched hands of Connersville senior keeper Eden Judd.
