Connersville wrestler Evan Shafer stands on the top of the podium after winning the heavyweight division at the Indiana High School Athletic Association Region 12 wrestling tournament on Saturday. Shafer now has a 35-0 season record, and will move on to compete at the Semi-State 3 tournament at New Castle on Saturday starting at 9 a.m.
