Accidents

A Suzuki XL-7 driven by Candise L. Keasling, 1467 East 5th St. Apt. 100, and a Chevrolet Silverado truck driven by Gregory W. Garrison, 1754 Big Bear Road, were involved in an accident Sunday at Central Avenue and 8th Street. Keasling was transported by the Fayette County Emergency Medical Services to Fayette Regional Health System for treatment, Connersville Police Capt. Randy Bolos said.

A Chevrolet Impala driven by Roberta Shanes, 1212 West 12th St. Lot 33, and a Dodge Charger driven by Louis J. Jones, 633 Western Ave., were involved in an accident Sunday at West Western Avenue and West 6th Street, CPD Officer Josh Durstine said.

A GMC Acadia driven by Shannon R. Sieber, 1806 Western Ave., struck a Nissan Altima Saturday owned by Rose M. Chasteen while parked in the 1500 block of Eastern Avenue, CPD Officer Clint Brown said.

Arrests

Tyler J. Tompkins, 26, 144 S. Central Ave., was arrested Sunday in the 3500 block of Western Avenue by Durstine on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia. Tompkins was lodged in the Fayette County Jail in lieu of $7,500 bond.

Craig A. Harris, 34, 6553 S. County Road 310-W., was arrested Sunday in the 3500 block of Western Avenue by Durstine on charges of possession of paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine and possession of a narcotic drug. Harris was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $16,000 bond.

William L. McDaniel, 46, 1212 West 12th St., was arrested Sunday at Park Road and 29th Street by CPD Officer Josh Tudor on charges of auto theft: receiving stolen property, possession of a syringe and driving while suspended. McDaniel was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $19,000 bond.

Rachel E. Fields, 45, homeless, was arrested Sunday at 626 East 5th St. by Tudor on charges of criminal trespass and refusing to identify and a warrant charge. Fields was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $5,000 bond.

Craig A. Johnson, 36, 517 West 21st St., was arrested Sunday at 2630 Grand Ave. by Sheriff’s Deputy Dan Becker on a charge of driving with a suspended license. Johnson was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $4,000 bond.

Brian W. Sturgeon, 34, 1000 West 21st St. Lot 134, was arrested Saturday in the 3500 Western Avenue by Brown on charges of possession of a syringe, theft, possession of a controlled substance and a warrant charge of failure to appear. Sturgeon was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $7,600 bond.

Peter P. Kwiatt Sr., 50, 1714 Central Ave., was arrested Saturday in the 400 block of Central Avenue by CPD Lt. Ryan Sherwood on charges of disorderly conduct and public intoxication. Kwiatt was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $2,000 bond.

Felicia M. Durham, 29, 2236 Virginia Ave., was arrested Saturday by CPD Officer Dean Rowland on a warrant charge. Durham was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $20,000 bond.

Jeremy A. Morrison, 34, 202 West 22nd St., was arrested Friday at FCJ by CPD Detective Craig Hamilton on warrant charges of manufacturing a controlled substance, maintaining a common nuisance and criminal recklessness. Morrison was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $20,000 bond. Morrison was arrested by Becker on a charge of trafficking with an inmate. Morrison was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $19,000 bond.

Blotter

CPD reported one welfare check and one alarm response Monday.

Jesse L. Daugherty, 626 West 5th St., reported Sunday coming home and finding a woman in the residence, Tudor said.

Miles Moore reported Sunday the window of his truck was broken while parked in the 1400 block of Eastern Avenue, Tudor said.

Donald E. Conner, 1202 West 8th St. Lot 3, reported Sunday a broken arrow with a bullet cartridge was shot through a window at his residence, CPD Officer Kyle Miller said.

CPD reported one medical call, one welfare check, two agency assists, one juvenile issue, one threat, one citizen assist, one verbal argument, one fight, one alarm response, one unwanted subject and one noise complaint Sunday.

Susan E. Durham, 2205 Ohio Ave., reported Saturday as she warmed up her maroon Dodge Stratus to go to work, someone got in and drove away, CPD Officer Dean Rowland said.

CPD reported one verbal argument, three welfare checks, two medical calls, one citizen assist, one agency assist and one unwanted subject Saturday.

Sheila Wilhelm, 1117 Oak St., reported Friday leaving her purse at the James Roberts Memorial Building and when she returned the purse was gone, Rowland said.

CPD reported two alarm responses, one noise complaint, two vehicle identification number checks, one animal issue and one citizen assist Friday.

Fire runs

Connersville Fire Department responded Monday to a medical call in the 900 block of Oak Street.

Bentonville Volunteer Fire Department responded Monday to a medical call in the 4000 block of Pennville Road.

CFD responded Sunday to vehicle accidents in the 2000 block of Bentonville Road, Central Avenue and 8th Street and the 1400 block of East 5th Street; medical calls in the 200 block of Teviston Street, 200 block of 30th Street and the 2500 block of Iowa Street; and smoke in the building in the 400 block of Central Avenue.

CFD responded Saturday to medical calls in the 3600 block of Western Avenue, 700 block of Northside Court, 600 block of West 30th Street and the 3000 block of Indiana Avenue and to a false alarm in the 2000 block of Virginia Avenue.

CFD responded Friday to a trash fire in the 2500 block of Grand Avenue, a water problem in the 1400 block of East 5th Street and a medical call in the 2500 block of Iowa Avenue.
