Judy Ann Rose

Judy Ann Rose, 80, of Connersville, passed away Thursday morning, February 8, 2018 at Reid Hospital, Richmond, Indiana.

One of seven children of George and Virgie Flannery Moore, Judy was born on July 5, 1937, in Franklin County, Indiana.

On July 17, 1959, she was married in Jackson County, Kentucky to Denzel Rose of Connersville. Mr. Rose passed away on November 19, 2014.

Judy had been employed at Philco-Ford for a number of years. More importantly, she was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and member of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed attending local Democratic Party functions, playing family card games, scrabble and word search puzzle books.

Survivors include four children, Tim (Diane) Rose of Connersville, Doug (Monica) Rose of Richmond, Jeff (Angie) Rose of Rushville, Indiana, and Geneva Gabbard of Connersville; six grandchildren, Ashley (Chad) Eaton of Coldspring, Kentucky, Alex (Rebecca) Rose of Centerville, Ohio, Hope (Blaec) Morgan of Rushville, Autumn Rose of Rushville, Austin Rose and Jacob Rose, both of Richmond; five great-grandchildren, Tyson Morgan, Cooper Morgan, Isabella Morgan, Arabella Eaton, Braxton Eaton; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Judy is blessed with two special friends, Ruby Siler and Nancy Lengle.

Besides her husband of fifty-five years, Denzel Rose, Judy is preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Jessica Rose who passed away in 2009; three infant brothers, George Moore, Jr., Thomas Ollie Moore, and Wilford Moore; three sisters, Ruth Kidd Mardis, Phyllis Robinson, and Marta Moore; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2018, at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home with Reverend Bobby Lee and Reverend Jerry Rader officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at the funeral home.
