Fayette County Health Department Administrator Matt Sherck spoke to the Fayette County Board of Commissioners regarding the future of a few of the department’s programs.

Sherck said the Indiana Department of Health has been in contact and is looking to extend its COVID-19 vaccination program for an additional six months, through December. The program has helped the department provide COVID-19 testing, vaccines and boosters throughout much of the worst of the pandemic.
