Mini Grant

A Growing Together Mini Grant will help Becky Marvel develop community gardens in Brookville and Laurel in partnership with the Franklin County Purdue Extension.

At a time when more families are turning to emergency assistance, Community Wellness Coordinators in 14 counties will be able to help with demand after receiving the 2023 Growing Together Mini Grants. These grants will fund gardening projects that will help stock local food pantries, aid farm-to-school efforts, and provide fresh produce to areas without a local supermarket.

The Growing Together Project increases access to fruits and vegetables in food pantries by building and maintaining community donation gardens.
