The Fayette County Commissioners discussed the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA)’s Hoosier Enduring Legacy Program (HELP) grant at their Sept 22 meeting.

The grant was born out of the Stellar program being put on hold at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. OCRA collaborated with the Purdue Center for Regional Development, the Indiana University Center for Rural Engagement, the Ball State University Indiana Communities Institute, Ivy Tech Community College, and other state partners in an effort to revitalize and restart the program.
