Salvation Army: The Salvation Army, 431 W. Western Ave. is handing out sack dinners until further notice.
Community Meals: Available at First Presbyterian Church, 700 Central Ave., Sunday from 5-6 p.m. Guests will pick up takeout meals at the entry door to Fellowship Hall instead of coming inside.
Community meals: Hot lunch will be brought to Conner Court Apartments from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Urban-Winkler Funeral Home parking lot from 2:30-4 p.m. and Offutts Park from 4:30-6 p.m. Crosspointe Biker Church is preparing and delivering the food.
Drive-thru food pantry: Grace United Methodist Church food pantry will be open for drive-thru pickup only. Patrons may drive to the church at 2936 Indiana Ave. and food will be brought out to the vehicle. Hours are 9-10 a.m. Monday and 5-6 p.m. Wednesday. Patrons allowed two visits per month.
Drive-thru food pantry: Maplewood Kids Kitchen Cupboard, noon-2 p.m. Thursday, April 9.
School children: Free grab and go breakfasts and lunches distributed on Mondays for children 18 years and younger. Five of each meal included. Locations and times: Eastview Elementary, 11-11:30 a.m.; Connersville Middle School, 11-11:30 a.m.; Offutts Park, 11-11:15 a.m.; Everton Elementary, 11:30 a.m.-noon; Industrial Park, 11:30-11:45 a.m.; Roberts Park pool parking lot, noon-12:15 a.m.; Frazee Elementary, noon-12:30 p.m.; Conner Court, 12:30-12:45 p.m.; Grandview Elementary, 12:30-1 p.m.; Maplewood Elementary, 1-1:30 p.m.; Courthouse parking lot, 4:30-5:30 p.m.; Fayette Central Elementary, 5-5:30 p.m.
Government and services
Fayette County: Courthouse and other county buildings are closed. To speak with a county official or employee, call that office and arrange to meet someone at the door.
City Hall: City Hall and the police station at 500 Central Ave. are closed to the public. People needing to leave something at City Hall may call 765-825-4211 and the mayor or clerk-treasurer will come to the door. People needing to talk to a police officer or the police secretary in person may enter through the dispatch door on the south side of City Hall along 5th Street.
Utilities: City utilities on Vine Street is closed. People can drop off payments at the drive thru.
Transfer station: Closed except to city trash trucks.
Fayette County Schools: Administration office closed until April 7. Send messages to email@example.com or leave a voice message at 765-825-2178.
BZA, APC: The Fayette County Board of Zoning Appeals has cancelled its April 16 meeting.
Fayette County Public Library: Closed until April 6.
God’s Little Blessings: Early Learning Center closed until further notice.
