MUNCIE — Ball State University’s Honors College announced awardees of the Whitinger Scholarship and the John R. and Aline B. Emens Leadership Scholarship for the 2022-23 academic year.
Whitinger Scholarships—the signature scholarship program of the Honors College—supplement Ball State’s Presidential Scholarships or similar Ball State awards to cover tuition and those University fees which automatically accrue for a full-time student. This scholarship honors Dr. Ralph J. Whitinger, a 1929 graduate who served many years as the first president of the Ball State University Foundation.
