Jayci scored a 100% A+ in my class the first nine weeks and is a perfect example of what a model student should look like.”

Lindsay Friend, Race Cars mathematics teacher, added, “She is hardworking, kind to everyone, and has a strong desire to do well. She is an amazing person all around.”

Jayci is a member of the Dude Perfect club at CMS and plans to join the track and field team in the spring.

As a student last year at Maplewood, she received several awards including the Bulldog Award, an award for straight A’s all year, and the School Board Academic Achievement award.

Her favorite classes are math and social studies. After high school she would like to become a physical therapist.

When asked what she liked best about being a student at Connersville Middle School, Jayci said, “I like that we have a lot more free time and we get to switch classes.”

Amy King, mathematics teacher, nominated her for being Respectful, Responsible, and Ready to Learn. King praised, “Ally is a great student. She is willing to participate during lessons. Ally is also willing to help other classmates when they have a question. She has a great attitude in class. It is a pleasure having her in class.”

Ally is a member of the CMS choir, FFA club, and is a cheerleader. In addition, she is a member of the Team Lead bystander leadership club and plans to play on the CMS softball team in the spring.

Outside of school, Ally participates in 4-H and is a member of a traveling softball team. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her family and friends.

Her favorite class is choir.

After high school she plans to attend college and have a family.

Her advice to seventh-grade students is to “turn in your work on time and be respectful.” When asked what she liked best about CMS, Ally stated, “I like that I can talk to my friends during passing period.”
