Individuals listed in the arrest logs are considered innocent until proven guilty. The preliminary charges and bonds may be changed when a case goes to court.

Arrests

John C. Lewis, 42, Glenwood, was arrested Wednesday at the Rush County Jail by Fayette County Sheriff’s Department Transportation Officer Ryan Young on a warrant charge of probation violation. Lewis was lodged in the Fayette County Jail with no bond.

Joshua M. Dye, 20, 1214 W. 8th St. Lot 4, was arrested Wednesday at FCJ by FCSD Sgt. Leonard Baker on charge of battery. Dye was lodged in FCJ with no bond.

Jasmine T. Campbell, 18, 1533 Eastern Ave. Apt. 2, was arrested Tuesday at the Fayette County Government Center by Connersville Police Detective Brad Rosser on charges of neglect of a dependent, dealing in methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance. Campbell was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $52,500 bond.

Blotter

CPD reported one citizen assist and one animal issue Wednesday.

A clerk at the Northside Package Store, 3104 Western Ave., reported Tuesday a customer is believed to have taken two cans of “Razz Beer” valued at $4.26 from the store without paying, CPD Officer Clint Brown said.

James R. Hardy, 2854 Country Club Road, reported Tuesday a window on his business’ Ford van had been smashed, CPD Officer Marc Koons said.

CPD reported two threats, two suspicious persons, one vehicle identification number check, one alarm response and one school bus stop arm violations and FCSD reported two suspicious persons, one citizen assist and one VIN check Tuesday.

Christopher F. Mason, 4511 W. County Road 150-N., reported Monday he drove through red paint in the roadway with his GMC truck. Juveniles had been painting a bridge on County Road 400-N. and dumped paint on the road, FCSD Deputy Justin Gray said.

CPD reported two juvenile issues, three citizen assists, one suspicious person and four school bus stop arm violations and FCSD reported one juvenile issue Monday.

Fire runs

Connersville Fire Department responded Tuesday to a vehicle accident in the 4000 block of South Indiana 1.

CFD responded Monday to a medical call in the 4700 block of Western Avenue, an open burn in the 1800 block of Central Avenue and a hazardous condition in the 1200 block of Illinois Avenue.
