Larry Dean Clark

Larry Dean Clark, 84, a lifelong resident of Connersville, passed away peacefully Friday evening, Sept. 6, 2019, at his residence.

One of three children of Charles Marion and Ruth Simpson Clark, Larry was born on Feb. 2, 1935, and graduated from Connersville High School with the class of 1953.

Larry served his country in the United States Army in Germany as a mechanic, returning to Connersville for residence following his honorable discharge.

On April 6, 1957, Larry was married in Central Christian Church to the former Kay Spangler. Mrs. Clark passed away on Jan. 5, 1988.

For many years, Larry was employed as a tool and die maker with Stant Manufacturing.

He was a member of Central Christian Church where he had served as a deacon.

Larry was an amateur radio operator and in his leisure time enjoyed golfing, fishing, and spoiling his grandchildren.

Survivors include two children, David A. (Angie) Clark of Connersville and Beth Ann Mundt of Bentonville; eight grandchildren, Kaylyn DeeAnn ( Andrew) Mundt-Davis of Richmond, Indiana, Shasta Kibbey, Sarah (Matt) Strainer, Samantha (Austin) Kibbey, all of Indianapolis, Indiana, Lilly Clark, Virginia Osborn, both of Connersville, Heather Osborn of Boulder, Colorado, and Tara Osborn of Connersville; nine great-grandchildren, Andrew, Mason, Alivia, LillyAnna, Scott, Kaylee, Jaxson, Heaven, and Iroh; a brother, Danny (Doris) Clark of Connersville, and a sister, Connie Thompson of Jacksonville, Florida.

Besides his wife of 30 years, Kay Clark, Larry was preceded in death by his parents; and a son-in-law, Ryan Mundt, who passed away on April 5, 2019.

Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019, at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home with Reverend Don Miller officiating. Burial with military honors provided by the Fayette County Veterans Council followed in Dale Cemetery. Calling was on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2019, at the funeral home.
