Arrests

Steven R. Housman, 39, 2147 Vermont Ave., was arrested Monday by Fayette County Sheriff’s Department Transportation Officer Ryan Young on warrant charge of domestic battery, criminal recklessness, criminal mischief. Housman was lodged in the Fayette County Jail with no bond amount listed.

Sherry L. Harmon, 51, 415 W. 17th St., was arrested Saturday in the 800 block of Western Avenue by Connersville Police Officer Josh Tudor on charges of domestic battery, resisting law enforcement, possession of paraphernalia, operating a vehicle with a 0.08-0.14 blood alcohol level and operating while endangering a person. Harmon was lodged in FCJ with no bond.

Ian M. Bloom, 23, 604 W. 34th St., was arrested Saturday at Grand Avenue and 11th Street by CPD Officer Kyle Miller on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Bloom was lodged in FCJ with no bond amount listed.

Michael J. Marshall, 33, Liberty, was arrested Saturday at 1307 Central Ave. by FCSD Deputy Kyle McMurry on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.

Ashley L. North, 29, Brookville, was arrested Friday at Grand Avenue and 35th Street by CPD Officer William Ammerman on charges of possession of a syringe, false reporting and possession of paraphernalia. North was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $15,000 bond.

Ronald J. Saterfield Jr., 42, Metamora, was arrested Friday at Grand Avenue and 35th Street by Ammerman on a charge of possession of a syringe and a warrant charge of probation violation. Saterfield was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $12,500 bond.

Billy J. Steele, 43, 3366 W. County Road 650-S., was arrested Friday at 627 Washington St. by CPD Officer Joe Becker on a charge of resisting law enforcement and a warrant charge of theft. Steele was lodged in FCJ with no bond amount listed.

Cody A. Baker, 25, Batesville, was arrested Friday at FCJ by Jail Cpl. Charles Morefield on a warrant charge of probation violation. Baker was lodged in FCJ with no bond.

Rupert E. Russell, 30, 2026 Virginia Ave., was arrested Thursday at 1200 Central Ave. by Ammerman on warrant charges of possession of a syringe, probation violation, false reporting and possession of methamphetamine. Russell was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $47,000 bond.

Blotter

CPD reported two suspicious persons. FCSD reported one lockout Monday.

Richard C. Beckman, 826 Lexington Place, reported the mirror on his Ford Econoline had been damaged, CPD Sgt. Scott Shook said.

FCSD Sgt. Jason Cloyd reported Sunday a green Buick Century had run into a cornfield at County Road 850-W and County Road 50-N., damaging the corn, a telephone box and fence post. The driver had run from the scene. The Rush County Sheriff’s Department assisted. The investigation is ongoing.

CPD reported one juvenile issue, two citizen assists and one welfare check and FCSD reported one verbal argument, one unwanted subject and one lockout Sunday.

CPD Officers responded to 415 W. 17th St. Saturday on the report of a physical fight. The woman involved, Sherry Harmon, had reportedly left in a white Scion. That vehicle ran Tudor’s vehicle off the roadway on Grand Avenue before being stopped in the alley in the 800 block between Western and Grand avenues. Harman was transported to FCJ where she fought with Jail Officers Tyler Ford and Bradie Rose and Cpl. Charles Morefield who attempted to remove jewelry during booking.

Kent R. Vaughn, 1322 Grand Ave., reported Saturday a lock had been knocked off a shed but nothing appeared to be missing, CPD Officer Scott Phillips said.

Randy L. Hurt, 421 Beech St., reported Saturday a white Genesis bicycle had been stolen from his property, Phillips said.

Krista M. Burns, 3311 Ohio Ave., reported Saturday a bicycle had been stolen from her property four times, Becker said.

Chris Frye, 3027 Wayne Ave., reported Saturday his Dodge Ram truck had been struck while parked on his property, Becker said.

CPD reported two citizen assists, one animal issue, one noise complaint, three suspicious persons and one unwanted subject and FCSD reported one battery and one alarm response Saturday.

CPD reported seven citizen assists, two verbal arguments, one case of harassment, one agency assist, two welfare checks, one juvenile issue, two vehicle identification number checks, one alarm response and one threat and FCSD reported one VIN check, two lockouts and one citizen assist Friday.

Ruby J. Bean-Collins, 2215 Indiana Ave., reported Friday a vehicle owned by her employer had been keyed, CPD Officer Brennan Watson said.

Lorie A. Voltz, 1500 Conwell St., reported Thursday a red Shark vacuum cleaner had been stolen from her residence, Phillips said.

CPD reported four citizen assists, one noise complaint, two alarm responses, two threats, two animal issues, one VIN check and one agency assist and FCSD reported one medical call and one citizen assist Thursday.

Fire runs

Connersville Fire Department responded Monday to a citizen assist in the 3600 block of Western Avenue.

CFD responded Sunday to medical calls in the 500 block of West 35th Street and the 1400 block of East 5th Street.

CFD responded Saturday to medical calls in the 1000 block of Hanson Drive, 400 block of West 35th Street, 100 block of West 4th Street and the 500 block of West 10th Street.

CFD responded Friday to medical calls to the 400 block of Ridge Road, 2200 block of Iowa Avenue and the 2300 block of Ohio Avenue and to a lawn mower fire in the 2900 block of Indiana Avenue and to a vehicle accident in the Kroger Plaza parking lot.

CFD responded Thursday to a medical call in the 1600 block of East 5th Street.
