Fall fest for seniors includes games, boat rides, meal

By KATE THURSTON - kthurston@newsexaminer.com

LifeStream will have its 2019 Fall Festival from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Dunlapsville, 3801 W. Dunlapsville Road, Liberty.

Senior citizens from several counties will have the chance to listen to live music, play chair volleyball, crafts, bingo, pontoon rides and much more.

“This is our 28th year doing this event,” Beth Evans, director, said. “Last year we had nearly 350 people attend, they had a great time. I think they all enjoy socializing with one another, listening to music with Garcia and Scott and not to mention the pontoon rides, they love that. We do this to offer older citizens a day out in one location from all the counties we serve and we do it at Dunlapsville so they can be near the lake.”

LifeStream also offers the Healthy Aging Expo, and the Aging Well Conference in the Spring. This Fall they will be hosting a Pumpkin Patch Bash for caregivers.
