The Connersville Police Department reported one suspicious person and two welfare checks and the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department reported one animal issue Thursday.

Firefighters at the Connersville Fire Station 1 reported Wednesday seeing two people in Chevrolet Impala drive up to Lindy Liquors Store, 613 Grand Ave., and open a pop machine. Money was missing from the machine. Investigation continues, CPD Officer Josh Tudor said.

CPD reported one overdose, two cases of harassment, one citizen assist, three fireworks calls, five welfare checks, two batteries, one alarm response, two vehicle identification number checks, two unwanted subjects, one verbal argument and one agency assist and FCSD reported two VIN checks and one verbal argument Wednesday.

Fire runs

Connersville Fire Department responded Thursday to a medical call in the 700 block of West 21st Street.

CFD responded Wednesday to a vehicle accident in the 6000 block of South Indiana 1 and to a medical call in the 800 block of Prospect Street.
