Accidents

A Ford Ranger driven by Alex S. Newhall, 2764 Bird Sanctuary Road, and a Nissan Altima driven by Heather L. Jarboe, 1139 Major Drive, were involved in an accident Saturday at Eastern Avenue and 5th Street, Connersville Police Officer Matt Reed said.

A Dodge Ram truck driven by Breydan S. Shafer, 3100 W. County Road 500-N., struck a utility pole Friday at 505 E. 5th St., CPD Officer Josh Durstine said.

Arrests

Christopher P. Schoenfeld, 34, Milroy, was arrested Saturday in the 800 block of Grand Avenue by CPD Officer William Ammerman on charges of possession of a syringe and possession of methamphetamine. Schoenfeld was lodged in the Fayette County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bond.

James C. Ramsey, 33, Greens Fork, was arrested Saturday at Pennville Road and County Road 440-N. by Fayette County Sheriff’s Department Capt. Billy Wayson on a warrant charge of failure to appear. Ramsey was lodged in FCJ with no bond.

Dustin Rubendall, 18, 701 Fountain Place Apt. 229, was arrested Saturday in the 100 block of East 8th Street by CPD Officer Kyle Miller on a charge of possession, consumption or transportation of alcohol by a minor. Rubendall was lodged in FCJ with no bond amount listed.

Cayden Edwards, 19, 1546 Eastern Ave., was arrested Saturday in the 100 block of East 8th Street by Miller on a charge of possession, consumption or transportation of alcohol by a minor. Edwards was lodged in FCJ with no bond amount listed.

Skylar J. Hentz, 20, 429 W. 5th St., was arrested Saturday in the 100 block of East 8th Street by CPD Officer Kyle Miller on a charge of possession, consumption or transportation of alcohol by a minor. Hentz was lodged in FCJ with no bond amount listed.

A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested Saturday in the 100 block of East 8th Street by Miller on a charge of possession, consumption or transportation of alcohol by a minor.

Leslie S. Becraft, 18, 1119 Conwell St., was arrested Saturday in the 100 block of East 8th Street by Miller on a charge of possession, consumption or transportation of alcohol by a minor. Becraft was lodged in FCJ with no bond amount listed.

Desiree E. Callahan, 28, 213 Wilmore Drive, was arrested Friday at 4200 Western Ave. by Durstine on a warrant charge of theft. Callahan was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $7,500 bond.

Tyler C. Isaacs, 32, 1101 W. 12th St., was arrested Friday in the 800 block of Gregg Road by Miller on charges of leaving the scene of an accident and operating while intoxicated endangering a person. Isaacs was lodged in FCJ with no bond amount listed.

James R. Watson, 50, Athens, Tenn., was arrested Thursday at FCJ by Jail Cpl. Charles Morefield on two counts of probation violation. Watson was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $50,000 bond.

Autumn R. Reisert, 26, 601 Reid St., was arrested Thursday on North Gray Road by Conservation Officer Travis Stewart on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident. Reisert was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $7,500 bond.

Jerry L. Faber, 41, 483 N. County Road 550-E., was arrested Thursday at FCJ by FCSD Sgt. Leonard Baker on a charge of criminal mischief. Faber was lodged in FCJ with no bond amount listed.

Blotter

Danny J. Rader Jr., 3128 Richmond Ave., reported Sunday the license plate on his Ford F-150 truck had been stolen, CPD Officer Joe Becker said.

CPD reported four suspicious persons, one unwanted subject, two agency assists, one citizen assist, one fireworks call, one juvenile issue, one verbal argument, two citizen assists, one welfare check, one vehicle identification number check, one animal issue and three medical calls Sunday.

Crystal R. Nichols, 3507 Grand Ave. Apt. 60, reported Saturday her purse had been taken from a friend’s car while parked in a lot at 120 W. 5th St., Ammerman said.

An employee of Walmart, 4200 Western Ave., reported Saturday found a bag that contained what appeared to be a drug. The drug tested positive for methamphetamine and weighed 7 grams, Ammerman said.

CPD Officer Kyle Miller reported Saturday stopping a Saturn Ion in the alley near Central Avenue and 8th Street for suspicious driving activity and a passenger sitting on the lap of another passenger. Six people were in the vehicle and five tested positive for alcoholic consumption, including one juvenile and four under the age of legal consumption. Lt. Kevin Perry and Sgt. Brian Evans assisted at the scene.

CPD reported two agency assists, two suspicious persons, six citizen assists, one verbal argument, one threat, one medical call, four vehicle identification number checks, one battery, two unwanted subject and one alarm response Saturday.

Cynthia Newman reported Friday a cylinder of propane had been placed under her parked vehicle at 307 W. 12th St., CPD Officer Scott Phillips said.

CPD reported one juvenile issue, one case of harassment, one unwanted subject, three agency assists, one citizen assist and one medical call Friday.

Fire runs

Connersville Fire Department responded Monday to a medical call in the 300 block of East 12th Street and to a vehicle accident on County Road 440-N.

CFD responded Sunday to a citizen assist in the 200 block of East 14th Street and to medical calls in the 3500 block of Grand Avenue, 2200 block of Vermont Avenue, 2100 block of Virginia Avenue, 2500 block of Iowa Avenue and the 700 block of South Fountain Street.

CFD responded Saturday to medical calls in the 1200 block of Illinois Avenue, 1700 block of Conwell Street and the 100 block of West 25th Street and to vehicle accidents on County Road 475-S. and Central Avenue and 5th Street.

CFD responded Friday to medical calls n the 2100 block of Indiana Avenue, 1400 block of East 5th Street, 1300 block of Indiana Avenue and the 100 block of West 25th Street and to a vehicle accident at Everton Road and County Road 330-E.
