Individuals listed in the arrest logs are considered innocent until proven guilty. The preliminary charges and bonds may be changed when a case goes to court.


Loren A. Hatfield, 33, 1315 Indiana Ave., was arrested Tuesday by Connersville Police Department’s Chad Catey on the charge of battery. Hatfield was lodged in the Fayette County Jail. A resident of Beech Street reported Tuesday that Hatfield came to her residence and when she was allowed inside smacked her son in the face. She stated that she told Hatfield to leave but Hatfield refused and bit her on her breast. CPD Officer Kyle Miller placed Hatfield under arrest.


Connersville Police Department reported one suspicious person, one alarm and one agency assist Wednesday.

CPD officers were dispatched to Tractor Supply Company, 2202 N. Park Road, Wednesday in reference to an alarm. Security cables on a riding mower were disconnected and the battery was missing, CPD Officer Scott Shook said. 

CPD reported one noise complaint, six citizens assists, one domestic problem, one suspicious person, one animal problem, one citizen dispute, one agency assist and one juvenile problem Thursday.
