Georgette Bartlett

Georgette Bartlett, 76, of Connersville, IN, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, in California, in the presence of family.

Born Feb. 8, 1943, in Wayne County to the late Robert and Sylvia Pace, she was a graduate of the Lincoln High School Class of 1961.

Georgette was always full of life and always had a smile, no matter what life threw at her. She loved being with her family and was always up for a cookout or gathering. She loved helping and riding on motorcycle runs for benefits, doing her crafts, and taking care of her garden and flowers, which was one of her loves of being outdoors. Anyone that met her learned quickly that she was a very independent and loving woman. To her, the greatest accomplishment was her three kids.

Survivors include a daughter, Debra (Rick) Geddes; two sons, Dan (Laural) Bartlett and Dale Bartlett; grandchildren Courtney Bartlett, Stephanie Bartlett, Katie (Tim) Gobler, Hannah Bartlett, Allison Kentner, Alec Geddes, Christopher (Journey) Matthews and Forrest Matthews; great-grandchildren, Noah Bartlett, William Gobler, Edan Bartlett, Kelsen Kothe, Taylor Matthews, Rowyn Matthews; siblings Jerry Pace and Bob (Rose) Pace; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and adopted family members who loved her as she did them, as family.

Preceding her in death besides her parents are a brother, Gary Jefferies; a sister, Gloria Diehlman; and a nephew, Greg Diehlman.

The family will be having a celebration of life (open house style) from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2019, at CrossPointe Biker Church. Just bring your memories and share with everybody. I love you, Mom.
