Roberts Park egg hunt on Tuesday

Come enjoy an evening with Sammy the Squirrel and the Easter Bunny at Roberts Park, 2900 Park Road. The annual Easter egg hunt starts at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Over 6,000 eggs will be placed near the park Pavilion, along with prize eggs. Children should bring their own baskets. The hunt is only for ages 10 and under.

Ride the Easter Bunny Express on April 20

The 19th annual running of the Easter Bunny Express on Saturday, April 20, will depart from Connersville Grand Central Station, 455 Market St., and make four round trips to the Easter Bunny Patch two miles away.

Come and meet the Easter bunny and hunt for a Golden Egg. The egg hunt is open to ages 8 and under. Reservations are recommended. Prices are $10 per person 2 and up.

The train departs at 10 a.m., noon, 2:30 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. Purchase tickets online or by calling the Whitewater Valley Railroad at 765-825-2054.

Tourism board reschedules

The Fayette County Tourism board has rescheduled its regular meeting to 5:15 p.m. next Wednesday in the county courthouse, 401 Central Ave. The board did not meet this week for lack of a quorum.

School board to talk of evaluations

The Fayette County School Corp. board will have an executive session at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday to discuss personnel evaluations. That meeting, closed to the public, will be followed by the board’s regular public session at 6:30 p.m. Both meetings will be at the school administration office, 1401 Spartan Drive.
