Individuals listed in the arrest logs are considered innocent until proven guilty. The preliminary charges and bonds may be changed when a case goes to court.

Arrests

Vincent D. Brown, 30, 445 Oak St., was arrested Tuesday at 123 W. 4th St., by Fayette County Sheriff’s Department Jail Officer Donnie Sparks on the charge of violation of probation. Brown was lodged in the Fayette County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bond.

Bobbie J. Woods, 43, 1200 W. 3rd St., was arrested Tuesday at that address by Fayette County Sheriff’s Department Detective Chad Blaes on the charges of possession of marijuana, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia. Woods was lodged in the FCJ with no bond.

Richard J. Wiggins, 45, 821 Western Ave., was arrested Tuesday at 1200 W. 3rd St., by Blaes on the charge of possession of methamphetamine. Wiggins was lodged in the FCJ with no bond.

Courtney N. Kennedy, 29, 3208 Virginia Ave., was arrested Monday at 4828 S. County Rd. 450 E. by Fayette County Sheriff’s Department road deputy Justin Gray on the charges of domestic battery and intimidation. Kennedy was lodged in FCJ. 

Paul E. Hill II, 53, 3000 E. County Rd 375 S., was arrested Monday at 3000 E. County Rd. 375 S. by Indiana State Police Officer Luke Tipton on the charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and a previous OUI conviction. Hill was lodged in the FCJ in lieu of $11,500 bond.

Blotter

Connersville Police Department reported one reckless driving, two suspicious persons, one citizen assist and one overdose Tuesday.

Barbara J. Johnson, 3507 N. Grand Ave., reported Monday that she found a white substance inside of a small baggie. She advised that it was on the sidewalk, and wanted it removed before a child found it. Connersville Police Officer William Ammerman field tested the substance that tested positive for methamphetamine. The baggie was disposed of in a CPD trash can, Ammerman said.

CPD reported one noise complaint, one domestic problem, one battery, one juvenile problem, one welfare check, one juvenile problem, four citizens assist and one fraud Monday.

Fire runs

Connersville Fire Department responded Tuesday to medical calls in the 500 block of W. 35th St. and the 100 block of W. 34th St.
