Myrtle Kay Bunch

Myrtle Kay Bunch, 60, of Connersville, passed away on March 24, 2019, at her home, following an extended illness. She had been a dialysis patient for the past 12 years.

She was born on December 30, 1958, in Rushville, Indiana, and is the daughter of Arnold Lee York Sr. and Elizabeth Irene Drew York. On November 15, 1994, she married William Bunch at Solid Rock Church in Connersville.

She had attended Community Gospel Church. Myrtle loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. She enjoyed going to flea markets, auctions, and playing BINGO.

She is survived by three daughters, Melissa (Danny) Steele, Majestic (Roger) Leonard, and Amy (Craig) Harmon; a son, Kenneth (Jessica) Taylor Jr.; three brothers, Arnold Lee York Jr., Johnny Ray York, Thomas Leslie York; two sisters, Beth Sweney and Rita (Jimmy) Case; four grandchildren, Whitley Hines, Braxton Hoop, Dalton Hines, and Darian Harmon; along with one great-granddaughter, Ari’vaya Harmon; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents; a set of twins who passed at birth; a sister, Linda Lou Isaacs; and a brother, Scotty York.

Visitation for Myrtle will be held on Friday, March 29, 2019, from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Urban-Winkler Funeral Home, Connersville. The funeral service will begin at 1:00pm on Friday, at the funeral home, with Reverend Robert Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Laurel North Cemetery.
