Why did you choose to be a part of the CHS ECHS Program? To get one year of college completed after I finish high school

Some of the supports you have received as a member of the ECHS program: The mandatory meetings gave me lots of information pertaining to the SAT and college, including private meetings with teachers to discuss the classes needed to complete the pathway. Also, the ECHS SRT passes help me get help from teachers at school.

How has ECHS has prepared you to be successful in college: It has showed me that time management is important and it completed a whole year of college for me.

Advice you would like to share with current and future ECHS students: Complete your pathway. Every year matters.

The Early College High School program offered at Connersville High School gives students a head start on completing college. ECHS is open to all students, but are tailored for first-generation college students, minorities, and socioeconomically disadvantaged students underrepresented in postsecondary education. These articles, provided by Michael Thompson, ECHS coordinator, will spotlight students enrolled in the program.
