The Fayette Community Foundation has been awarding scholarships for three decades. Applications for this year are available.

The Fayette Community Foundation has two different scholarship applications for 2019. Connersville High School seniors who are Fayette County residents should complete both applications. Each application is reviewed by three committee members. Committee members for most of the scholarships do not live or work in Connersville or Indiana. So, it is important to make sure not to use abbreviations or acronyms when completing the application, Anna Dungan, the foundation’s executive director, said.

Each year, the application process is tweaked to be more efficient for qualified CHS students to successfully apply for funding. The community foundation’s goal  is for the best applicant to be selected and for the applicant to earn a degree.

For information, call the foundation office, 765-827-9966 or look online at www.givetofcf.com. The office is open 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
