High water closes roads
Feb 08, 2019

Rain fell much of Tuesday and Wednesday in Fayette County and local waterways started to overflow Wednesday. County officials closed several roads and the Fayette County schools issued a message to parents that some students might be getting home later than usual because of detours. This photo shows a road closed sign on County Road 200 East just south of Alquina Road, where Fishers Creek flows under both of roads.
