Accidents

A Ford Focus driven by Levi S. Adams, 243 S. Eastern Ave., and a Toyota 4-Runner driven by Alex C. King, 909 E. Hanson Drive, were involved in an accident Saturday at Virginia Avenue and 30th Street, Connersville Police Capt. Chris Scott said.

Arrests

Adam C. Ferman, 35, 1006 Beech St., was arrested Sunday at Grand Avenue and 3rd Street by CPD Officer Josh Durstine on two warrant charges of possession of a narcotic drug and a charge of possession of methamphetamine. Ferman was lodged in the Fayette County Jail in lieu of $22,500 bond.

Tessa R. Owens, 22, 2036 Grand Ave., was arrested Saturday at Ohio Avenue and 27th Street by Fayette County Sheriff's Department Deputy Kyle McMurry on charges of dealing in methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine. Owens was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $45,000 bond.

Travis G. Halveland, 39, 1104 W. 8th St., was arrested Saturday at Ohio Avenue and 27th Street by McMurry on charges of battery, criminal recklessness, obstruction of justice, resisting law enforcement, dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, reckless driving and aggressive driving. Halveland was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $179,000 bond.

Blotter

CPD reported one agency assist and one citizen assist Monday.

CPD reported one animal issue, four citizen assists, one welfare check, one juvenile issue, one medical call and one unwanted subject Sunday.

Julia Robbins reported Saturday being sideswiped by a Mercury Milan in an alley between 1500 block of Indiana Avenue and Grand Avenue and the driver of the Mercury left the scene. Robbins' vehicle received damage to one side, CPD Officer Kyle Miller said.

Thomas D. King Jr., 4179 N. County Road 95-W., reported Saturday bumping a silver Pontiac G6 at the railroad tracks on 30th Street at Western Avenue. The driver of the Pontiac left the area, Durstine said.

Stacey L. Thompson, 1506 Conwell St., reported Saturday someone had placed sugar in her gas tank, Durstine said.

CPD reported four citizen assists, four unwanted subjects, two alarm responses and one medical call Saturday.

Fire runs

Connersville Fire Department responded Monday to medical calls in the 1400 block of West 7th Street and the 600 block of Washington Street.

CFD responded Sunday to medical calls in the 1200 block of West 3rd Street, 1400 block of Martin Street, 1400 block of West 7th Street and the 800 block of Walnut street, to a false alarm in the 1500 block of Indiana Avenue and a trash fire in the 1100 block of Fayette Street.

Bentonville Volunteer Fire Department responded Sunday to a truck fire in the 2000 block of North County Road 550-W.

CFD responded Saturday to a false alarm in the 300 block of East 5th Street and to medical calls in the 1500 block of Indiana Avenue, 200 block of Regency Place and the 1000 block of East 5th Street.

BVFD responded Saturday to a medical call in the 1000 block of West 21st Street.
