Glitter A.D. Buckley, 25, 2108 Vermont Ave., was arrested Wednesday at 1701 Illinois Ave. by Fayette County Sheriff’s Department Detective Chad Blaes on charge of dealing in methamphetamine. Buckley was lodged in the Fayette County Jail in lieu of $30,000 bond.

Joshua W. Lohman, 22, 1000 W. 21st St. Lot 113, was arrested Wednesday at 1701 Illinois Ave. by Blaes on a charge of dealing in methamphetamine. Lohman was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $30,000 bond.


A contractor for BAC Bank reported Wednesday the air conditioning unit, hot water heater, furnace  and wiring had been removed from the residence at 719 W. 22nd St., CPD Officer Marc Koons said.

Claudia Couch, 1051 E. Village Creek Road, reported Wednesday a wedding band set had been stolen from the residence in the fall and she has learned they were sold to J&J Jewelry. The store confirmed the purchase but the rings had been sent for melting.

CPD reported four citizen assists, one welfare check, two unwanted subjects, four vehicle identification number checks, battery and one case of harassment Wednesday.

Fire runs

Connersville Fire Department responded Thursday to medical calls in the 3500 block of Grand Avenue and the 200 block of East 5th Street.

CFD responded Wednesday to an electrical issue in the 1100 block of East 5th Street.
