On The Record

Individuals listed in the arrest logs are considered innocent until proven guilty. The preliminary charges and bonds may be changed when a case goes to court.

Arrests

Matthew J. Marshall, 31, Metamora, was arrested Friday at the Franklin County Security Center by Fayette County Sheriff’s Department Transportation Officer Ryan Young on a warrant charge of failure to appear. Marshall was lodged in the Fayette County Jail with no bond.

Nathanial W. Roberts, 18, 303 W. 1st St., was arrested Friday at the Probation Department by Community Corrections Director Michele Dudley on a charge of theft. Roberts was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $30,000 bond.

Tyler W. Moore, 32, 1467 E. 5th St. Apt. 87, was arrested Thursday at South Indiana 1 and County Road 485-S. by FCSD Deputy Dan Becker on a charge of possession of methamphetamine and a warrant charge of probation violation. Moore was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $12,500 bond.

Blotter

Odis Isaacs, 915 Ridgewood Court, reported Friday his Dodge Ram truck had been stolen. About a half hour later, a call of a suspicious vehicle behind Mousie’s Restaurant, 917 West Western Ave. That vehicle was the stolen vehicle with some damage, CPD Officer Matt Reed said.

CPD reported one citizen assist and FCSD reported one lockout Friday.

Bryan Benning, 2904 Ohio Ave., reported Thursday his unlocked Chevrolet Malibu had been stolen, CPD Officer Scott Phillips said.

Franklin Marcum, 2142 Grand Ave., reported Thursday his Nissan Sentra had been struck in the rear overnight, CPD Officer Dean Rowland said.

CPD reported Thursday locating a Nissan Altima near ContainerKraft belonging to Richard Lynn that had been reported as stolen Tuesday from 1410 Grand Ave. The car had been damaged. The detective division is continuing the investigation.

CPD reported one overdose, two verbal arguments, three citizen assists, two agency assists, two alarm responses and one case of harassment and FCSD reported one vehicle identification number check, one alarm response and one citizen assist Thursday.

CPD has had several vehicle entries and stolen vehicles recently where the vehicles were not locked. Residents are encouraged to lock their vehicles.

Fire runs

Connersville Fire Department responded Friday to medical calls in the 700 block of West Western Avenue and to the 1000 block of East 5th Street.

CFD responded Thursday to medical calls in the 1200 block of Illinois Avenue and the 800 block of Scott Street.

Bentonville Volunteer Fire Department responded Thursday to a medical call in the 1000 block of West County Road 200-N.

BVFD responded Wednesday to a medical call in the 2000 block of County Road 400-N.
