Individuals listed in the arrest logs are considered innocent until proven guilty. The preliminary charges and bonds may be changed when a case goes to court.

Arrests

James R. Jefferies, 47, 4977 S. Indiana 1, was arrested Monday on Washington Street by Connersville Police Capt. Chris Scott on charges of possession of a narcotic drug, possession of a syringe and possession of methamphetamine and a warrant charge of theft. Jefferies was lodged in the Fayette County Jail in lieu of $19,000 bond.

Brandon L. Greer, 23, 120 W. 3rd St., was arrested Monday at Community Corrections by Community Corrections Director Michele Dudley on a charge of possession of a syringe. Greer was lodged in FCJ in lieu $7,500 bond.

Blotter

CPD reported one welfare check and FCSD reported one welfare check Tuesday.

Chad A. Abbott, 2347 Vermont Ave., reported Monday three windows in his garage had been shot by what appeared to be a BB, and a window on a Honda Odyssey had been broken by what appeared to be a BB, CPD Sgt. Kevin Perry said.

A manager at Dollar General Store, 540 W. 30th St., reported Monday a man left the store without paying for a bottle of drink valued at $4.28, CPD Officer Scott Phillips said.

An employee of Walmart, 4200 Western Ave., reported Monday a man left the store with a backpack possibly filled with merchandise. A search of the area did not locate the man, CPD Officer Dean Rowland said.

An employee of Gillman’s Do-It-Best Center, 505 E. 5th St., reported Monday a reciprocating saw and battery had been taken from the store, CPD Detective Richard Wilcox said. 

CPD reported one unwanted subject, one citizen assist, one alarm response, one citizen assist, two verbal arguments, two vehicle identification number checks and two agency assists and FCSD reported one welfare check Monday.

Fire runs

Connersville Fire Department responded Monday to a medical call in the 300 block of West 30th Street.

EMS runs

Fayette County Emergency Medical Services responded Saturday to calls in the 2500 block of Iowa Avenue twice, 2900 block of Indiana Avenue, 3500 block of Virginia Avenue, 900 block of East Little Bear Road, 400 block of Beech Street, 1200 block of West 3rd Street, 600 block of Eastern Avenue and the 1300 block of Fayette Street.

EMS responded Friday to calls in the 1800 block of Williams Road, Ziegler Road and Indiana 121, 3600 block of Western Avenue twice, 700 block of West 3rd Street, 3300 block of Richmond Avenue and the 2300 block of East Little Bear Road.

EMS responded Thursday to calls in the 500 block of Canyon Parkway, 3000 block of South County Road 350-E., 700 block of South Fountain Street, 4000 block of East County Road 400-N., 6000 block of Industrial Avenue and the 2100 block of Western Avenue.

EMS responded Wednesday, Oct. 31 to calls in the 5000 block of South Indiana 1, 1000 block of East 5th Street, Western Avenue and West 21st Street, 2600 block of Western Avenue, 200 block of West 3rd Street, 2600 block of Grand Avenue, 400 block of Vine Street and the 400 block of Central Avenue.

EMS responded Tuesday, Oct. 30 to calls at East Everton Road and Bentley Road, 1500 block of Indian Springs, 1100 block of Fayette Street, 2600 block of Grand Avenue, 100 block of West 4th Street and the 1300 block of Central Avenue.

EMS responded Monday, Oct. 29 to calls in the 2000 block of East County Road 400-N., 600 block of West 32nd Street, 1000 block of West 21st Street, 100 block of East 2nd Street, 1800 block of Vermont Avenue, 800 block of West 24th Street, 2000 block of Park Road, 800 block of Scott Street, 2800 block of Eby Drive and the 300 block of West 35th Street.

EMS responded Sunday, Oct. 28 to calls in the 800 block of East 5th Street, 600 block of West County Road 175-S., 800 block of N. County Road 150-E.1000 block of West 21st Street and the 700 block of South Fountain Street.
