What do you see as the top 3 issues facing Fayette County, in priority order? People not getting involved in our community, drugs, and lack of well-paying jobs.

What are the top three responsibilities of the office for which you are a candidate? Administering and maintaining records of activities within the courts of the county; oversee and encourage voter participation in all elections in the county.

How have your life experiences prepared you for the office you are seeking? In high school, I interned with Holly Dunn to become a social worker. I learned a lot working with Holly and how to better serve others. My family has been involved with foster care and adoption, which the clerk would work with. I value honesty, kindness, organization and responsibility. I enjoy reading and writing. I have always wanted to serve others and make a difference in my community.

If you win the election, how will you try to have an effect on your number one issue? I truly believe that the problem with today is that no one wants to get involved. Which applies to numerous different scenarios. I find it very disheartening that so many people are moving away from Connersville because they believe there is nothing here for them. My plan for being your next county clerk is to encourage voter turnout. I want to find ways for not only millenials but everyone to be more educated and passionate about getting involved in our community. I am looking forward to creating and planning ways to improve involvement in our town.
