Car hits rail depot

A 2007 Chevrolet Suburban driven by Daniel T. Frye, 918 S. County Road 350-W., struck the loading platform on the west side of Grand Central Station Monday afternoon. Frye told the Connersville Police Department he had fallen asleep due to working long hours. He apparently had been southbound when he left Grand Avenue striking the depot. The office manager was in the office but wasn’t hurt. Trains will be running this weekend after cleaning up the mess but passengers will have to exit the building through a different door, Whitewater Valley Railroad Superintendent Mike Scott said.
