The inaugural Funders Forum meeting was July 24 at the Fayette County Foundation. Anna Dungan led the meeting with Carol Hunter, Melissa Myers and Sara Poe attending.

The Forum’s goal is to bring together community organizations to build trust, understand the needs of partners and utilize funding sources for maximum impact in Fayette County.

The group discussed how their organizations grant money. The group discussed how it would be helpful when organizations are asking for money at street intersections, to wear their logo or the same color shirts and give donors a slip of paper to place on their car dash to show they have given.

The Funders Forum is open to any organization or business that gives grants. The next meeting will be 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20. For information, contact Dungan, 765-827-9966.
