Russell Montgomery Feeback

Russell Montgomery Feeback, 63, of Connersville, passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2018, at Hancock Regional Hospital after an extended illness.

He was born on May 5, 1955, in Connersville, and is the son of the late Bob and Berna Feeback. He graduated from Connersville High School. He worked in maintenance at Fayette Co. Schools, then drove a CDL truck for Caldwell Gravel and retired due to ill health after 17 years.

He was a member of the Orange Church of the Cross and also liked going to Chapel Baptist in Andersonville. He loved making people laugh and making every day a good one. He loved kids and animals, and they loved him, especially his dog, Lexi, who was his constant companion.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Donna (Coyle) Feeback, who he married on July 26, 1985; his children, Tish Dixon, of Connersville, and Denny Feeback, of Milroy; and four nieces and nephews who lived with him and he helped raise - Clay Coyle, Seth Coyle, Sarah Coyle, and Chelsea Coyle, all of Fayette County. He also has four grandchildren – Nicole, Darrell, Peyton, and Brooke, and four great-grandchildren; a niece, Natalie Paxson, and three nephews, Trip Brown, Michael Paxson, Hudson Coyle who he helped watch every Friday. He is also survived by his siblings, Connie Marcum, Don (wife Carla) Feeback, of Muncie, Denny (wife Brenda) Feeback, of Brookville, Mike Feeback, of Brookville, and Richard Feeback, of Milton; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Smith and Cathy Hundley, as well as many more nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Paul Feeback.

Visitation for Russell will be on Thursday, August 9, 2018, from 10:00am until 11:00am, at Urban-Winkler Funeral Home, Connersville. The funeral service will be at 11:00am, at the funeral home, with Reverend Mike Coyle officiating. Burial will follow in Orange North Cemetery.
