Accidents

A Toyota Tundra driven by John S. Lucas, 440 N. County Road 325-E., Tuesday struck a Dodge Durango owned by Robert M. Reed, 617 Tulip Lane, in the 400 block of East 5th Street, Connersville Police Officer Brad Rosser said.

Arrests

Casey L. Howe, 38, 301 W. 11th St., was arrested Wednesday at the Fayette County Jail by Probation Officer Charles Whallon on two warrant charges of probation violation. Howe was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $25,000 bond.

Blotter

CPD reported two agency assists and one citizen assist Wednesday.

Melissa Johnson, 517 W. 21st St., reported Tuesday someone entered her residence and took her kitchen cabinets, CPD Officer Josh Durstine said.

Elaine Gill, 2321 Iowa St., reported Tuesday a stereo and cash had been taken from the residence, CPD Officer Marc Koons said.

Brittany Bland, 136 Fiant St., reported Tuesday receiving a call from a cash advance company threatening arrest if a loan was not paid, but she had never taken a loan. It is a scam, Rosser said.

David J. Sidell, 134 S. Central Ave., reported Tuesday a previous tenant had taken items from 104 S. Central Ave. when moving out, Rosser said.

CPD reported one verbal argument, two agency assists, one animal issue, two welfare checks, one vehicle identification number check, one threat and one citizen assist Tuesday.

Fire runs

Connersville Fire Department responded Wednesday to a structure fire at 103 Eastern Avenue and to medical calls in the 2300 block of Grand Avenue, 900 block of Ranch Road, 800 block of West 5th Street, 1800 block of Grand Avenue, 3600 block of Western Avenue and the 1200 block of West 3rd Street.

Bentonville Volunteer Fire Department responded Wednesday to a medical call in the 2900 block of North County Road 450-W.

CFD responded to a medical call Tuesday in the 800 block of Western Avenue.
