Judge Paul Freed

Criminal mischief: Devan Miller, 27, 1200 W. 3rd St., pleaded guilty and sentenced to the Fayette County Jail, to serve 10 days, balance suspended and placed on probation. Assessed $185 court costs; $75 initial and $15 monthly probation user fee. Ordered to make restitution with victim; lifetime ban from Fayette County Rifle and Gun Club; complete programs as directed by the Probation Department.

Theft: Rochell Parrett, 24, 2126 E. County Road 400-N., pleaded guilty and sentenced to two year at the Indiana Department of Correction, to serve 106 days, balance suspended and placed on probation. Assessed $185 court costs; $125 initial and $15 monthly probation user fee. Ordered to submit to abuse evaluation and complete all recommended treatment and counseling.

Leaving the scene of an accident, driving while suspended: Ashley Asbury, 34, 1803 Eastern Ave., pleaded guilty to Count I and sentenced to 180 days in FCJ, suspended and placed on probation for one year. Assessed $185.50 court costs; $75 initial and $15 monthly probation user fee. Count II dismissed.

Carrying a handgun without a license: Ryan Carpenter, 27, 1467 East 5th St., pleaded guilty and sentenced to one year in FCJ, to serve 90 days through Community Corrections, balance suspended and placed on probation. Assessed $185 court costs; $75 initial and $15 monthly probation user fee.

Failure to return to lawful detention: James Harris, 39, 3176 S. County Road 350-E., pleaded guilty and sentenced to two years at IDOC, suspended and placed on probation. Assessed $185 court costs; $125 initial and $15 monthly probation user fee. Ordered to complete Community Correction classes as recommended.

Operating a vehicle while intoxicated, operating a vehicle with .15 or greater blood alcohol level: David Ranick, 59, Milton, pleaded guilty to Count I and sentenced one year in FCJ, suspended and placed on probation. Assessed $385.50 court costs; $75 initial and $15 monthly probation user fee. Ordered 180 days suspended license. Count II dismissed.

Operating a vehicle with .15 or greater blood alcohol level, possession of marijuana, public intoxication, operating a vehicle while intoxicated: Jorge Coronel, 51, New Trenton, Ohio, pleaded guilty to Count I and sentenced to one year in FCJ, suspended and placed on probation.
