Individuals listed in the arrest logs are considered innocent until proven guilty. The preliminary charges and bonds may be changed when a case goes to court.


Marlow J. Lainhart, 32, Laurel, was arrested Thursday at the Fayette County Jail by Fayette County Sheriff’s Transportation Officer Ryan Young on warrant charges of possession of a syringe and maintaining a common nuisance. Lainhart was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $10,000 bond.

Baron S. Fosnight, 54, 1013 1/2 Maple St. was arrested in the 1000 block of West 10th Street by Connersville Police Sgt. Kevin Perry on a charge of resisting law enforcement. Fosnight was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $7,500 bond.


CPD reported one alarm response and one verbal argument Thursday.

CPD Sgt. Kevin Perry reported Wednesday trying to locate a man at 1013 1/2 Maple St. The man, identified as Baron Fosnight, left the residence and did not follow the command by Perry to stop, so Perry deployed his Taser, but missed. Fosnight was later located and arrested.

Rose Earlywine, 1120 W. 8th St., reported Wednesday two people were outside her window and later she discovered her lawnmower battery was stolen, CPD Sgt. Brad Rockwell said.

Clara Kaucher, 710 Fountain Place Apt. 310, reported Wednesday a woman staying in her apartment took her laundry and apartment key, Rockwell said.

Zane C. Badore II, 788 Roger Road, reported Wednesday a customer’s furniture had been taken from a storage trailer parked in the 400 block of East 5th Street, Rockwell said. 

CPD reported one animal issue, two citizen assists, one agency assist, two verbal arguments, one juvenile issue, two welfare checks, one case of harassment and one alarm response Wednesday.

Fire runs

Connersville Fire Department responded Thursday to a structure fire in the 500 block of Oak Street and to a medical call in the 1000 block of East 5th Street.

CFD responded Wednesday to a medical call in the 1200 block of West 3rd Street.
