Individuals listed in the arrest logs are considered innocent until proven guilty. The preliminary charges and bonds may be changed when a case goes to court.


Matthew D. Moore, 25, 6267 S. Kidd Road, was arrested Wednesday at the Fayette County Jail by Jail Officer Charles Morefield on a warrant charge of probation violation.

Dillion L.D. Hoop, 22, 601 W. County Road 175-S., Lot 24, was arrested Tuesday at Huston and Third streets by Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputy Dan Becker on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia. Hoop was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $15,000 bond. Hoop was also arrested on a warrant charge and lodged in FCJ in lieu of $27,000 bond.

Craig A. Brown, 46, 1511 E. Indiana 44, was arrested in the 1500 block of East Indiana 44 by Becker on charges of refusal to identify and resisting law enforcement. Brown was lodged in FCJ with no bond amount listed.


CPD reported one vehicle identification number check and FCSD reported one citizen assist and one lockout Wednesday.

Devon P. O’Brien, 816 Morning Glory Lane, reported Tuesday being northbound on Vine Street in his Chevrolet Impala and turning onto Lee Street when struck by a southbound silver Chevrolet Cobalt also turning onto Lee Street, CPD Officer Kyle Miller said.

Latisha A. Abshear, 1207 Flint Drive, reported Tuesday her vehicle had been entered and cash taken, CPD Officer Marc Koons said.

Summer K. Spoonamore, 2707 Flint Drive, reported Tuesday her credit card had been used without authorization, CPD Officer Brad Rosser said.

Ryan M. Baker, 2511 Eby Drive, reported Tuesday his vehicle had been entered and a bottle of lotion taken, Rosser said.

Jenna K. Burgess, 2859 Iowa Ave., reported Tuesday her vehicle had been entered but nothing taken, Rosser said.

CPD reported two alarm responses, one animal issue, two VIN checks, two citizen assists,one battery, one verbal argument, one juvenile issue and four Operation Pull Over violations and FCSD reported two juvenile issues, two citizen assists, two VIN checks and one medical call Tuesday.

Fire runs

Connersville Fire Department responded Wednesday to medical calls in the 3100 block of Richmond Avenue and the 1500 block of Westwood Boulevard.

CFD responded Tuesday to a medical call in the 1400 block of East 5th Street and to a vehicle accident in the 5600 block of County Road 850-W.
