I have been trying to learn to like salmon and it’s a challenge for me for sure. It is oily and fishy tasting to me. I’ve tried salmon 2 ways that I like. One is a Cajun butter version and the other is teriyaki. I’ve included the recipe for teriyaki in this article.
I grew up eating salmon patties and technically eating salmon that way still gives you the healthy Omega 3 that is in salmon but fried patties are typically full of unhealthy fat. My mom made it with crackers, eggs and then fried the patties in leftover bacon grease. We ate it with a pile of mashed potatoes and gravy.
